Change is coming

Another run today. Heart rate still through the roof, but it didn't feel like it. I did have a slight wardrobe malfunction with my new running skirt. Triks spankies are not for bottom heavy girls like myself. I was fine walking in them, but running developed a serious wedgy situation. I prefer the running skirt with the shorties. Anyway, I spent the run feeling like I'd be flashing people on the park path. Good news is that my skirt stayed put (thank God).

In other news, my work schedule will be changing as of next week. My hours will be more normal, and I'll actually leave work while the sun is still out. Maybe then I'll be back into the swing of reading blogs because I'm doing a horrible job of it now. I set up my google reader a month or so ago. And I really haven't checked any blogs since. It's this damn schedule I tell ya. Hopefully, things will get back to normal and I can catch up with everyone. I hope everyone's doing well. Ciao for now.

P.S. I forgot to mention, I saw a deer in the park today. I almost lost it. Then I remembered they're herbivores. Phew. The only deer I've seen up close were road kill. Luckily, the wooded area of the park is far from the road.

Deer are fun to spot while you're running. I ran a race, though, where a deer came out of the brush on one side of the country lane, ran OVER a runner and disappeared in the brish on the other side of the road.. The runner was hospitalized for 3 days with a concussion. I ran by him later (he was faster than me) and he looked awful as he was being attended to. I thought it was heat stroke, but instead it was a head injury. I guess that's better, right?
