Today was a heatwave compared to the other day. And I ran after the sun went down, so lucky me. My plan was to run this morning. I went to bed around 9ish. Yeah, I was beat. I woke up around midnight, talked to a friend for over an hour, then went back to bed. But I figured I should have been rested in the morning. Well, not so much. The alarm went off, I reset it, and turned over. How do you morning people do it in the winter time? Any tips? Please share. Okay, so the schedule called for a 15min run. When do I ever follow the schedule? I figured that I could muster up the energy to get in a few minutes on the track. I was not driving all the way to the Y. The time it takes to drive there, I could be finished running. Anyway, it was uneventful. I didn't have my music. It's not often that I do really short runs with music. But today was one of those days I really wanted to hear a certain song. But my mp3 player was giving me issues. So no music. So I'll just leave you with the song I wish I ran to. I can't ever get up either -- unless I have an obligation to meet up and run with someone.
I can't do the morning thing now either. It's too warm and snuggly in bed.
